Founded in 2019 by a University of Oregon professor, Nicholas Allen, Ksana Health collects mental health data and transfers the information from users to clinicians through its mobile therapy app. The company’s flagship product, the Effortless Assessment Research System (EARS), provides insights for clinical research used by institutions. The company’s newest offering, the Vira mobile health platform, targets consumers between the ages of 13 and 30. Vira will passively gather data through smart devices that therapists can use to develop personalized treatment plans. The company intends to launch the platform in Q1 2022 commercially.
