Evolv Technology

Evolv technology offers a physical security system targeting airports, schools, commercial and business premises and public places. Evolv’s technology allows customers/entrants to pass through a security check without having to stop and pose to be recognized and cleared. The company offers three products: Evolv Edge, Evolv Express, and Evolv Pinpoint. The Evolv Edge system has been developed to receive around 800 people per hour, screening them for weapons or banned items. Evolv Express screens around 3,600 people per hour. To use Evolv Pinpoint technology the customer is required to install the Evolv screening device with a built-in facial recognition camera on the premises and upload images of people who should be allowed to enter the premises. Evolv is not the only company offering this type of technology, but it is one of the few in the market that is successfully commercialized.
