Sonero

Sonero is an AI-based virtual meeting transcription tool that transcribes and subsequently summarizes virtual meetings. This includes key takeaways, action items, meeting insights (e.g. a percentage breakdown of participant contributions), and searchable transcripts. Sonero is currently available through an integration with Zoom, and its customers include the Royal Bank of Canada, Harvard Business School, and Ignition Capital.

In July 2021, Sonero raised USD 300,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by serial entrepreneur and angel investor Jeff Wald. The round included the participation of notable investors such as Eddie Lou (co-founder of Shiftgig and board director at The Mom Project). The new funds are expected to be funneled toward accelerating Sonero’s growth and product development.
