Fashion Data is a French startup that provides data-driven solutions to minimize textile waste by optimizing the number of products in-store, predicting order patterns, and forecasting sales volume data for retailers and brands. The company’s “Tailer” platform (previously known as JARVIS) uses big data and AI, combining three categories of solutions focused on customers (demand forecasting), products (inventory management), and the supply chain (store/product performance). 

Fashion Data’s suite of customer-oriented solutions includes Buyer Persona (customer profiling), Customer Activity (analytics), and Target Booster (marketing). Its product-centric offerings include Demand Forecast, Order Scheduling, and Sales Reforecast. Fashion Data’s two supply chain solutions are Store Identity (to refine product mix) and Store Replenishment (quantity forecasting).

The company collects data from its customers, which it verifies and organizes so that it can create a model. The model allows customers to transform the data as required and the company claims it can be implemented at a very low cost within a short period, aiding easy implementation.

Key customers and partnerships

In November 2020, the company partnered with Pictime Groupe, a French company that facilitates digital transformations of fashion companies, to support around 15 new retailers in their digital and omnichannel transformation. The company’s customers also include French fashion brands/retailers Grain de Malice and RougeGorge Lingerie.
