Meili Technologies offers a contactless, in-vehicle medical emergency detection system that connects drivers with emergency medical services (EMS). Its technology identifies unusual or critical situations and responds accordingly to aid passengers and mitigate the risk of crashes. Its proprietary deep-learning models leverage vital signs and visual inputs to determine instances of driver incapacitation caused by various medical conditions such as heart attacks, seizures, and strokes and respond accordingly. Meili’s solutions are sensor-agnostic, and the company works directly with OEMs and suppliers to customize and integrate its technology with existing cabin hardware. The company offers the service on a B2C software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis. It was yet to commercialize its offering at scale as of July 2023.
