Pinrose offers custom fragrances based on an online quiz. Pinrose uses a unique sensory-based quiz that presents customers with 12 sets of two pictures to choose their preferred option from each set.The company uses the psychology of olfaction to identify fragrance preferences of users that are associated with each picture that is selected. The results are matched using a proprietary algorithm to identify a set of three scents that are offered as perfume petals (a small piece of paper containing the scent). This quiz assesses sensory preferences and matches customers with one of Pinrose's multifaceted perfumes from over a million possible combinations.
