Freespira is an FDA-approved digital therapeutic solution to treat panic attacks, panic disorders, and PTSD symptoms over 28 days by training users to normalize respiratory irregularities.
The Freespira platform combines a proprietary sensor, a nasal cannula, connected tablet, patented software, and telehealth services to provide real-time breathing regulation exercises with a coach. Freespira's approach focuses on normalizing breathing patterns and reducing carbon dioxide hypersensitivity, which are believed to contribute to panic and PTSD symptoms. The sessions are 17 minutes long and are conducted twice a day for 4 weeks.
