New York-based Recora Health offers a 12-week virtual program targeting elderly heart patients and patients that have suffered cardiac events with the use of remote patient monitoring solutions. The program, administered through its online platform, supplements in-person cardiac rehabilitation and includes virtual sessions, educational materials, support groups— an operations support team—and a medical support team. The company also provides internet-enabled devices and other recovery tools such as blood pressure monitors and resistance bands as a part of its offering.
The company provides its services on a subscription-based B2B2C basis, where its offerings are recommended by healthcare providers. As of March 2022, the company worked with Geisinger and several regional insurance providers that cover around 30,000 cardiac patients.
In March 2022, the company launched out of stealth, with an oversubscribed Series A funding round led by SignalFire.
