Shares is a UK-based stock trading platform that allows users to engage each other to discuss investments, manage portfolios with friends, and access market insights. The platform offers features such as social trading, activity feeds, group watchlists, and member profiles to view the trading performance of others using the platform.

Users can also trade fractions of shares and are required to have a minimum account balance of GBP 1. It does not charge users trading fees but does earn commission on spread when users buy or sell shares.

As of March 2022, Shares had over 130 employees, with offices in London, Paris, and Krakow. It also had more than 60,000 users on its waitlist for its upcoming EU launch as of the same date.
