TruePay is Brazilian B2B BNPL provider that differentiates its offering by using retailers’ credit card receivables as collateral to guarantee supplier payments. TruePay reported a merchant base in the thousands, all across Brazil just five months into its operation. The company claims it has grown at a rate of 100%–200% month-over-month in 2021 and plans to grow 10–15 times in 2022.

TruePay raised USD 32 million in a Series A funding round led by Addition. This follows a seed funding round that concluded in September 2021, raising USD 8 million co-led by Kaszek and Monashees. The funding will be primarily used for product development and expanding its existing employee base to 100 from 50 by the end of 2021.
