Jobber is a Canadian startup specializing in providing a field service management platform for SMB home service providers and sole traders. Its platform offers a range of features for 1) job management including scheduling appointments and invoicing, 2) client communication tools including the ability to send marketing emails and postcards, and 3) operations management including billing and accounting as well as credit line lending. The firms platform can be integrated with third-party accounting platforms and other billing and payment technologies. The firm also provides free one-on-one product coaching and unlimited free customer support through multiple channels. In addition, the Jobber mobile app is a filed service management app that features scheduling, team management, and client communication solutions.

Jobber's competitive edge lies in its focus on the relatively untapped home services market, where it specializes in catering to 50+ segment including cleaning, electrical repairs, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, lawn care, and painting.

The firm stated that it had achieved 3x revenue growth since its funding round in January 2021 and had achieved USD 100 million in annual revenue. It also stated that it had been mostly profitable since its founding.

Key customers and partnerships

As of March 2023, the firm’s solutions are used by more than 200,000 service providers across 60 countries including in the US and Canada as well as across Latin America. It has facilitated services to 27 million+ properties and collected ~USD 13 billion in payments for its users.

The firm has entered into partnerships with other startups specializing in home services including with Xero, a small business platform (July 2024), CallRail, a lead intelligence platform (March 2024), Thumbtack, a home management platform (February 2022), CompanyCam, a photo documentation and communication app for contractors (December 2021), in order to integrate their solutions with the Jobber platform.

The firm also provides a number of services to support small home service businesses including a private entrepreneurship group and a Jobber Grants program, which awards 25 annual grants worth USD 150,000 each.
