BeMe Health is a digital behavioral health platform founded in 2021, focusing on providing mental health support specifically tailored for teenagers and young adults. The company's mobile app offers a comprehensive suite of mental health tools, including 24/7 accessibility, interactive mood and skill-building activities, and personalized support. BeMe's platform combines engaging technology with human touch, featuring live text-based coaching, links to clinical services, and crisis support. The app incorporates short-form videos covering various topics relevant to teens, interactive care activities based on dialectical behavioral therapy, and a self-navigable suite of activities allowing users to access support when needed.
In a study conducted in conjunction with Stanford University, BeMe recorded the engagement and outcomes of approximately 13,000 users. The research found that after using the app's digital content, 83% of teens self-reported improved hope, 84% experienced increased self-esteem, and 92% gained confidence in using coping skills. The platform has shown particular success in engaging female-identified users and those in the youngest age groups (13-14 years old). BeMe Health bills itself as a platform built by and for teens, with a Teen Advisory Board providing continuous feedback on the app's design and content.
