eMe Health is a telepsychiatry platform that provides customized content, a mood tracker, and app-based tasks to boost mental health. BeMe plans to track this data over time, allowing users to see correlations in their behavior. The app is specially designed to improve adolescent engagement by incorporating aspects of social media, gaming and streaming, along with coaching and clinical care. Users have access to tools to develop new skills, self-guided activities, mental health content, coaching, and crisis support via the BeMe mobile app. The app is set to launch in 2022, and the company will operate a B2B2C model via partnerships with insurance providers.

BeMe’s coaching solutions are offered via synchronous and asynchronous text-based sessions based on selected topic areas and identified personal goals. Additionally, the company also has a teen advisory board to tailor their experiences on the platform. As of November 2021, the company operated in stealth mode

Founded in 2021, the Massachusetts-based company plans to use advanced AI and Neuro-linguistic programming to recommend personalized content and activities to support teens in real-time and to help predict future needs based on in-app usage patterns. In November 2021, the company concluded a seed funding round backed by Polaris Partners and Flare Capital Partners which will be used towards scaling its operations. The company also has partnered with private health plans and Medicaid providers to expand its market reach.

BeMe Health teamed up with healthcare organizations Inland Empire Health Plan and Molina Healthcare of California in November 2023 to expand its services to schools in two Californian counties. The partnership intended to make BeMe's mental health app, which offers activities to build skills, one-on-one coaching, and 24/7 crisis support, available to over 72,000 teens across 10 educational districts. The companies expected to have discussions with each school district to tailor implementation plans. They also planned to address ways of providing technology to students who lack it.

Funding and financials

BeMe Health received an investment of USD 1.5 million in November 2023 from health insurance company Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS). This investment and partnership was expected to extend mental health support to ~20,000 teenagers in Kansas. The company had plans to utilize the new funds to enhance its app offered for teenagers.
