The Dutch company, Tiqets, offers a platform that allows users to book tickets to museums and attractions such as studio tours, zoos, historic buildings, and stadiums and arenas located across Europe, the US (expanded in 2017), South America, and APAC (2018). The platform allows flexible cancellation options on all of its venue offerings and offers travellers a curated list of top museums and attractions based on their ratings, along with seasonal deals and early-bird discounts. Bookings can be made via a web browser or the Tiqets mobile app (launched in 2016).

The company also offers B2B revenue solutions through its “Tiqets for Venues” platform, geared toward museums and attractions. The platform consists of merchandising tools to increase yield per customer, a booking engine to manage visitor capacity, and a ticketing solution to manage revenue. In July 2020, the company updated its booking engine with new options, including time-slot-based ticketing, dynamic pricing for off-peak days, and free reservations for members. In exchange for using the Tiqets booking engine, Tiqets charges tour operators from a performance-based revenue share model. From this, average commissions amount to 8%–12%, based on each ticket sale.

Key customers and partnerships

As of September 2024, Tiqets had sold more than 40 million tickets through its platform, while its mobile app was downloaded by more than 3.9 million users. Key customers for the Tiqets for Venues platform include leading museums and attractions such as Guggenheim, Albertina, and Casa Batlló.

Partnerships with Big Tech firms include that with Apple (November 2021), allowing iOS users to book tickets directly on Apple Maps, and Google (September 2018) to offer admission tickets from Tiqets for museums and attractions via Maps, Search, and Google Assistant to users. Inventory integrations included that with Klook (September 2022), Trip.com (July 2022), bookingkit (April 2021), and Ticketbar (March 2021). Other partnerships included that with KLIA Ekspres (June 2019) and QYER (October 2018).
