Finout is a cloud cost management and observability platform providing businesses visibility into their cloud spend across various providers and services.

Finout's platform combines infrastructure services from cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure with data warehouses like Snowflake, Kubernetes platforms, and observability platforms such as Datadog and Coralogix into a single consolidated bill called MegaBill. It attributes every line item in the MegaBill to its corresponding business role, feature, team, and product using advanced assignment rules and virtual tagging. This includes native, agentless support for Kubernetes. It allows companies to gain insights into their unit economics and profitability margins for each customer or service by correlating these costs with external metrics and business data sources like Datadog, Salesforce, and Looker. 

Finout also offers AI Cost Management, which allows organizations to monitor and manage spending on AI sub-services like AWS SageMaker, GCP's Vertex AI, and more. This service can be combined with Finout’s Virtual Tagging to allocate 100% of infrastructure AI costs across teams, products, or features. Moreover, it provides FinOps tools, including anomaly detection, trend projection, and customizable dashboards, giving users immediate insights and simplified control over their AI expenses.

In April 2024, Finout acquired Cloudthread, a cloud cost optimization company, further enhancing its capabilities in the FinOps space.

The company reported a 9x increase in annual recurring revenue from 2022 to 2023.
