React Gaming Group Inc. (RGG) formerly (Intema Solutions) is a company with interests in esports and iGaming. The company’s gaming and esports-related assets include Compete.gg (formerly HypeX.gg), a peer-to-peer gaming platform, and TheSMACK, an esports branding and engagement service. In addition, it also houses the email marketing brand eFlyerMaker and the online advertising marketplace Advertiise.
In September 2021, RGG (Intema at the time) closed the acquisition of Canadian esports team organization Team BloodHounds Inc. Initially announced in June 2021, the purchase consideration consists of up to CAD 621,000 (approximately USD 500,000) in cash and stock. The acquisition allowed it to add its first esports team organization to its esports-related assets. Founded in 2018, Team BloodHounds Inc. is considered to be one of the most popular Canadian Fortnite esports teams, with a 14-player roster and a combined following of 8.8 million across all of its social media platforms as of May 2021.
It announced the acquisition of Parabellum Media, the parent company of Toronto-based esports team organization Parabellum Esports and amateur esports academy Northern Shield Academy in February 2022. Founded in 2020, Parabellum Esports has exposure to Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, CS:GO, and iRacing, while a Valorant roster is also in the pipeline. In 2021, the team earned more than USD 100,000 in prize money. The team was granted a license to compete in the Rainbow Six North American Pro League in March 2022.
