In March 2022, the company was chosen by Independence Blue Cross (the largest health insurer in Philadelphia) as its senior-focused primary care provider. Further in January 2024, the company partnered with Humana to offer Patina’s virtual and in-home primary care services to Humana Medicare Advantage members in the Charlotte region.
Funding and financials
In October 2021, the company emerged from stealth and raised USD 57 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and GV. The funds were used to launch its whole-person in-home and virtual services to select Medicare Advantage health plans in early 2022.
