London-based Pennyworth provides digital banking services to individuals via a mobile app. The company’s main aim is to serve aspiring-affluent individuals, which mainly includes professionals earning in excess of GBP 40,000 per annum.
The app’s focus is on offering savings-related products and to enable customers to set specific financial goals, and track their progress towards achieving these goals. The app also takes this a step further by allowing customers to automatically amalgamate their goals into one comprehensive financial plan using its own unique algorithm.
The company has also stated that it intends to launch an interest-bearing savings feature, credit products, and account aggregation that will enable customers to link external bank accounts to their Pennyworth accounts in the future.
