Employee Navigator

Employee Navigator provides HR, compliance, and benefits software. The platform includes benefits administration, integrations, Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, integrated payroll, new hire onboarding, HR management, and paid time off (PTO) tracking.  The benefits administration feature of the platform allows brokers to manage their entire book of business online, covering medical, dental, life insurance, and critical illness benefits for employees. It offers a self-service experience with a flat fee, giving brokers control over their digital storefronts. 

The platform claims to simplify time off management with an intuitive dashboard, automated accruals, and customizable policies. The system allows for one-off adjustments, automated accrual increases, and self-service features for employees enabling one-click approvals and a team calendar view. The platform also consists of customizable checklists for onboarding tasks, one platform for managing onboarding, benefits, PTO, and modernized safety and training resources for new hires. Employee Navigator's HR management tool centralizes and synchronizes HR records and systems. It offers employee self-service tools, automatic updates, an online org chart, customizable class structures, real-time reporting, and document storage with electronic signatures. Moreover, Employee Navigator integrates with payroll companies, ensuring that client data stays in sync with their preferred payroll system. 

In March 2023 , the company acquired benefits platform provider Ease. The companies are said to continue to operate separately, with Ease's features being gradually integrated into Employee Navigator's platform. The combined company is said to result in one of the biggest benefits administration and HR platforms in the US, providing support to more than 150,000 businesses, over 4,000 insurance brokers, and more than 13 million employees.

As of March 2023, Employee Navigator serves more than 12 million employees from over 65,000 companies including Alera Group, Assured Partners, Assurex Global, Brown & Brown Insurance, and One Digital.

It has partnered with companies like Adaptasoft (CyberPay), Ameriflex, Anthem BCBS, Dental Select, elevateBenefits, HowardSimon (HS), HR Tech Solutions, LLC, IdentityForce (formerly CyberScout), Kronect (UKG Ready, Dimensions, and Pro), and Optimum Service Solutions, LLC to offer integrations.

Funding and financials

In January 2021 , the company raised USD 34 million from JMI Equity. The funds were allocated to expanding its product offering and making hires across all departments.
