ContractHero

ContractHero is a cloud-based contract management software designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Launched in 2020 by German founders Gerry-Constantin Koch and Sebastian Wengryn, the platform provides an automated solution to streamline the entire contract lifecycle, from creation and signing to monitoring and renewal.

ContractHero enables businesses to digitize their existing contracts and store them centrally in the cloud, eliminating the need for physical paper processes. Users can effortlessly import contracts from various sources like Google Drive, SharePoint, and Dropbox into the platform. The software offers robust search capabilities, allowing users to quickly locate specific clauses or terms within extensive contracts.

With ContractHero, companies can efficiently manage large volumes of contracts without the need for additional headcount. The platform sends automated reminders for important due dates and renewals, ensuring no obligation is missed. It also provides detailed audit trails and granular user access controls, enhancing compliance and accountability within the contract management process.

In October 2021, ContractHero raised a pre-seed funding round of EUR 1.7 million from investors VR Ventures and Coparion, laying the foundation for further expansion of its SaaS offering. As of 2023, the company secured an additional EUR 2.15 million in seed funding from several investors, including VR Ventures / Redstone, coparion, Swiss Post Ventures, xdeck, and Venista Ventures. These investments have enabled ContractHero to bolster its technology and sales teams while enhancing the platform's capabilities.
