Tablebed is a Finnish company that has developed an innovative, patented, and award-winning multifunctional furniture design that transforms from a table into a bed in just 10 seconds. The product, called Tablebed, is a space-saving solution that allows efficient use of square meters, making it ideal for homes, summer houses, offices, and hotels.

Tablebed's story began in 2017 when its inventor, Dine Renfors, conceived the idea of combining a table and a bed into one piece of furniture while living in the center of Turku. The inspiration came from the desire to live more efficiently and embrace minimalism by combining two pieces of furniture that occupy significant space but are rarely used simultaneously.

The Tablebed's innovative mechanism, featuring hinges, gas springs, and wheels, enables a smooth and effortless transition between the table and bed configurations. The product boasts a high-quality mattress for superior sleeping comfort compared to traditional sofa beds. Additionally, the linens are neatly stored within the table, eliminating the need for extra storage space.

In 2021, Tablebed secured a notable one million euro contract in the US, marking a significant milestone for the company's expansion into the American market. As of late 2021, Tablebed's products were being sold in approximately 20 countries.
