Botinkit

Botinkit is a China-based developer of robotic cooking pots. The company’s key offering is a stir robotic cooking solution “Botinkit Max,” with frying, boiling, cold tossing, and braising capabilities. Features of Botinkit Max include automatic seasoning, temperature control, plating, and cleaning. The technology is supported by an AI solution for recipe portioning, “Botin AI,” and a cloud database dubbed “Botin Cloud,” which includes custom recipes developed by the company’s chef partners. The company planned to add multimodal sensors to the product to enable detection of flavors and smells.

As of May 2023, Botinkit was available in China, the US, and Japan with plans to be expanded across the Middle East and Europe in 2024. 

Key customers and partnerships

Botinkit has customer partnerships with Singaporean fast food company Delibowl and has deployed its technology at food stalls inside Walmart’s locations in China.

Funding and financials

In July 2023 , Botinkit raised USD 13 million in a Series A round led by Forebright, with participation from 5Y Capital and Brizan Venture, to expand operations across the Middle East and Europe.
