American Robotech develops four types of service robots pitched toward restaurants, hotels, schools, and office buildings. Its robots come with LiDAR, cameras, and other sensors for autonomous navigation.
- “PuduBot” is an autonomous robot waiter equipped with four metal food trays.
- “BellaBot” is a similar but interactive robot waiter, for AI-based voice interaction with customers. The robot comes equipped with four trays, each with the capacity to carry 22 lbs (10 kg).
- “KettyBot” also supports AI voice recognition, features an 18.5-inch ad display, and can accommodate 66 lbs (30 kg) of food in a single-serve.
- The waterproof dish collecting robot “HolaBot” also comes equipped with four trays, each with a 33 lbs (15 kg) carrying capacity. It reacts to voice commands and comes with a microphone to identify sound sources in real-time and navigate autonomously.
The company opened its products for sale in early 2021; and has restaurant customers including La Duni, Layered, Korean BBQ, Green Papaya, and J.S. Chen’s. The company offers its products for outright sale or using a robotic-as-a-service business model. Outright sale prices range from USD 10,800–17,800 and are aligned with Chinese incumbent Keenon Robotics’ service robot offerings (USD 11,000–16,000).
