Fring is a platform that connects businesses in the Netherlands with freelance talent in creative and digital fields such as design, development, product management, and marketing. Fring's web portal enables companies to create their own flexible workforce by connecting with freelancers they have previously worked with and wish to rehire. Companies can invite known freelancers to join their community on the Fring app and can add new freelancers to their talent pool. This approach reduces recruitment time, streamlines onboarding, and eliminates additional commissions. 

Companies can share job posts to attract the right talent, with project durations typically ranging from 2 to 12 months and weekly hours varying from 8 to 40. Freelancer rates, depending on the required skill sets, range between EUR 65 and EUR 125 (~USD 70–135) per hour. Fring asserts that its platform can help companies save up to 70% in recruitment fees by providing full transparency to all candidates.

Fring uses AI to verify the skill sets of freelancers during registration. Freelancers' quality scores increase when they are selected for jobs and invited by companies to join talent pools. Fring's community leaders actively screen shortlisted freelancers. In 2023, Fring acquired FreelanceDev, a Netherlands-based talent management platform specializing in IT talent recruitment. The Fring team was to take over the daily operations and further development of the platform.

For companies requiring additional support in filling challenging job positions or those with limited time for recruitment, Fring's community leaders offer assistance. For this service, Fring charges a maximum service fee of 7% based on the total hours the freelancer is hired, billed directly to the company via a separate invoice.

As of October 2024, the company had over 10,000 freelancers signed up on its platform.
