Acamp

Stockholm-based Acamp provides a platform for booking camping sites across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany, with plans to expand to other north European markets in 2023. Acamp's platform provides a map-based search and booking experience, allowing users to filter camping sites to include either Acamp sites or third parties.

The platform provides users with a variety of categories to search through, including pet-friendly, caravans-allowed, electricity, and other facilities. The platform can be accessed through its mobile app (launched in partnership with startup accelerator, Levels, in January 2021) or through its website. Acamp also allows private and commercial hosts to list their unused land and curated experiences for campers to book on the platform, with Acamp taking a 10% cut in return for being listed on the platform.

In March 2020, the company acquired a registration platform for camping users, Ställpatse, to expand its product offering in the European market.

In March 2022, Acamp acquired Ställpatser to expand into the European camping market.

Key customers and partnerships

As of February 2023, the platform had 2,000 hosts and served more than 10,000 customers.
