ElecJet is a US-based company that produces fast charging, solid-state graphene battery solutions. In February 2022, the company launched its AX and G-AX solid-state batteries.
The AX battery is a ceramic oxide solid-state battery that comes in 31 Ah and 10 Ah forms and can charge in 15 minutes. The AX battery can also retain 80% of its capacity for over 1,000 charging cycles and is suitable for power walls, smaller energy storage solutions, and EVs.
In July 2022, ElecJet in partnership with Quality Circuit Assembly, another Alpine 4 Holdings subsidiary, built a solid-state battery prototype production line at the latter’s manufacturing facility in San Jose, California.
Key customers and partnerships
In January 2022, RCA Commercial and ElecJet formed a JV called RCA Batteries to manufacture and distribute the latter’s graphene batteries.
Funding and financials
ElecJet was acquired by Alpine 4 Holdings in November 2021 to enhance its business opportunities and expand its offerings in lithium and graphene battery manufacturing. The company has not disclosed any previous funding rounds.
