Next-gen Cybersecurity

Security company Check Point has acquired SaaS platform security and management startup Atmosec, with the aim of integrating its technology into Check Point's unified "Infinity" security architecture. The details of the transaction were not disclosed. Atmosec provides tools for discovering and disconnecting malicious SaaS platforms, detecting authorized and unauthorized platforms, preventing connections from third-party platforms, and fixing misconfigurations. This is Check Point's second acquisition in two months, following its purchase of secure service edge company Perimeter 81 in August. Other cybersecurity companies, including Rubrik and Honeywell, have also been acquiring Israeli startups recently.
