Founded in 2021, Gravitics develops components for the space economy with a focus on space stations. The company’s flagship product is the StarMax module, which is claimed to have the largest interior volume–400 cubic meters–in a standalone spacecraft. StarMax is equipped with multiple interfacing options, MMOD Space armor with optional integrated solar cells, customizable configurations, along with internal and external mounting options. Furthermore, its shipyard-style fabrication enables the module to be used in the aerospace industry as a living space and/or space station.
The company operates a 42,000 sq foot facility north of Seattle where it has initiated the assembly of the first StarMax prototype, which concluded its first pressure tests in March 2023. Further, Gravitics have initiated taking pre-orders for StarMax modules for delivery in 2026.
