Valence’s platform offers a GenAI-backed copilot (Nadia) for employee leadership coaching. The copilot is able to offer employees proactive emails and follow ups based on best coaching practices The company also provides managers tools to understand team sentiment and dynamics, track team performance and progress, share feedback, facilitate guided discussions, and formulate shared plans and commitments.

The company’s customer base includes notable Fortune 500 brands such as Coca-Cola, Boston Scientific, Illumina, and Applied Materials. Further, as of May 2024, the company noted that its AI-powered coach was used by ‘tens of thousands’ of employees.
Funding and financials
Valence raised USD 25 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors. The fresh funds were allocated to triple Valence’s headcount to 75 employees, build out its product team, and expand its geographic footprint (primarily in Europe).
The company also announced a new board of advisors featuring a group of industry experts, including Bill McNabb (former chairman and CEO, Vanguard), Eric Roza (former CEO, CrossFit), and Katie Bullard (Managing Director, Insight Partners).
