Kiwi offers personal loans to Latin American individuals with poor credit histories through its mobile app and online platform. It utilizes proprietary AI and machine learning models to assess the creditworthiness of customers and provide loans ranging from USD 350 to USD 1,000. Customers have the option to receive the loans deposited into their bank accounts or to collect them at a Me Salve store. In addition, Kiwi also assists customers to build their credit history by reporting their payment history to the main credit bureaus. Furthermore, Kiwi had plans to offer a free credit card called Kiwi Card. The card would have a maximum credit limit of USD 1,000 and a repayment period of 9 months.
Kiwi also provides a point-of-sale BNPL solution called Kiwi Pay. The product is offered through partnerships with businesses with Kiwi taking on all risks associated with collections, fraud, and chargebacks.
