Doral Renewables operates across 18 states and nine electricity markets in the US The company has secured over USD 2.5 billion in long-term wholesale power purchase agreements with utilities and energy providers, such as a long-term agreement with AEP Energy Partners for the 400 MW Mammoth North project in Indiana. In March 2024, Doral Renewables achieved financial closure for the 48 MW Great Bend Solar project in Ohio through a USD 114 million financing package from HSBC.
In June 2024, Doral Renewables received a USD 400 million minority equity investment from the Dutch pension fund APG, making APG the company's largest independent investor. This investment aims to accelerate the development and construction of Doral Renewables' pipeline. The company was previously owned by Israel-based Doral Group, Migdal Group, and US members, with financial backing from Apollo Global Management.
