Key customers and partnerships
In June 2023, Synapicture partnered with the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) to advance telehealth care via specialty offerings. Through the partnership, MJFF formed an advisory board of patients diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and care partners to help identify potential clinical trials for Synapticure patients to join.
In April 2024, the company partnered with the ALS Association to improve access and quality of care for ALS patients across the US. Through the partnership, Synapticure's telemedicine platform was made available to members of the ALS Association to supplement in-person visits at certified ALS treatment centers, primarily benefiting those living in remote areas. With Synapticure's asynchronous model offering flexibility in scheduling and monitoring, the partnership further alleviated the burden on ALS patients and their caregivers. Additionally, ALS patients gained access to local and national resources, with a designated ALS Association liaison offering customized support within Synapticure's virtual clinic.
Most recently, in August 2024, the company partnered with Pearl Health a value-based care technology company, to support dementia patients through the CMS GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program. The partnership aimed to improve the quality of life for dementia patients and caregivers by providing access to specialized neurologists, behavioral health support, and comprehensive caregiver assistance. Pearl Health primary care providers began referring Medicare patients to Synapticure for proactive, value-based dementia care. Through the CMS GUIDE program, patients began receiving fully covered online visits with Synapticure neurologists and approximately 80 hours of respite care services at no additional cost.
