SlantRange develops and markets advanced drone-based sensor systems and analytics solutions for precision agriculture. Its flagship products are the SlantRange 4P+ and 4P sensors which can be mounted on drones to collect high-resolution multispectral imagery and data for crop analysis. The 4P+ sensor utilizes technologies like automatic light calibration, precise GPS positioning, and inertial navigation to gather accurate field data even in remote locations. It can capture up to 1,000 acres of data per hour with 20% overlap, enabling the creation of detailed maps showing crop health indicators such as population density, weed presence, and yield potential. The 4P sensor adds the ability to sense the red-edge light band for early detection of crop stress and disease compared to the more affordable 3P sensor. SlantRange's solutions are designed to provide actionable insights to help farmers optimize planting, irrigation, nutrient application, and other decisions for improved efficiency and productivity.

In June 2023, SlantRange was acquired by Hiphen, a French company specializing in image analysis and agricultural data analytics. The combined entity operates globally under the Hiphen brand, aiming to accelerate the development of advanced crop measurement and prediction tools leveraging remote sensing and data science.
