Kollektor is a platform for creation and primary sale of mobile-first art and collectible NFTs targeting mainly non-crypto-native creators. Kollektor is built on the Algorand blockchain, which is claimed to be carbon negative and charges lower gas fees compared to NFT platforms based on Ethereum. Kollektor has no setup costs, and creators are awarded 15% of all consequent price growths of their digital assets following the primary sale. As of February 2022, the platform is onboarding Beta users, and buyers are able to make payments using credit and debit cards and direct bank transfers.

Notably, Kollektor started off with a grant from the Algorand Foundation Grant Program in October 2021, to create a social art NFT platform with low transaction fees and commissions.
