Digital Retail Apps develops mobile app-based self-checkout solutions for retail stores named “SelfPay.” Customers can use SelfPay to scan the barcodes of their purchases and complete the transaction using their preferred payment method. SelfPay supports a range of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Samsung Pay.

The solution can also be integrated with in-store POS systems. Notably, SelfPay uses geolocation and beacon technology to identify a customer’s entrance into a store. Retailers can either use the white-labeled multi-retailer SelfPay app or obtain a SelfPay Verify license that can integrate the solution to the retailers’ branded app.

The app supports loyalty and discount programs and enables customers to maintain loyalty points in their user profile.

Digital Retail Apps also provides a patented employee SelfPay app, where employees can use a mobile device camera to scan and verify digital self-checkout receipts of the customers as an anti-theft measure.

Canadian retailer Lux Beauty Boutique partnered with Digital retail apps to deploy SelfPay for its retail locations.
