Tradier

Tradier is an online brokerage platform that offers equity and options trading through a free account or on a subscription basis. Tradier also offers a range of APIs for brokerages and investment advisors. Its Brokerage APIs are available on a freemium basis as an individual plan, while business plans have customized pricing. Advisor APIs enable investment advisors to accelerate the development of their digital offerings, which includes online account opening, deposit and withdrawal capabilities, and document delivery. The platform also offers over 40 third-party integrations with features such as automated trading and advanced technical analysis. In August 2023, the company launched Tradier Hub, which will allow users to access over 100 platforms and be part of a retail trading community. The Tradier Hub will be accessible free of charge and provide users with intraday education and market insights and engage with other professional traders in real time.

Tradier offers three subscription tiers: Lite (USD 0/month), Pro (USD 10/month), and Pro Plus (USD 35/month). The Lite plan charges USD 0.35 per trade for stocks, equity & ETF options, and index options, but does not include futures trading. The Pro plan eliminates fees for stocks and equity & ETF options, charges USD 0.35 for index options, and introduces futures trading with fees ranging from USD 0.75 to USD 1.50 per contract. The Pro Plus plan further reduces costs, offering free stock and equity & ETF options trading, lowering index options to USD 0.10 per contract, and reducing futures fees to USD 0.35–0.75 per contract. Higher tiers provide access to more features, including a desktop app and waived annual IRA fees. All plans include web and mobile app access as well as API access. The assignment/exercise fee decreases from USD 9.00 in Lite and Pro plans to UD 5.00 in the Pro Plus plan.

In March 2021, Tradier acquired Rho, a commission-free mobile trading app for stocks, ETFs, equity options, and index options, for an undisclosed amount. Through the acquisition, Tradier has planned to launch a white-label mobile offering aimed at clients who wish to offer embeddable investing capabilities.
