UK-based Lune Climate is a SaaS-based climate technology company combining carbon emissions calculations and carbon removal actions into one platform. The company develops APIs and software tools for businesses to integrate CO2 offsetting strategies into their customer experiences.

In addition, Lune Climate provides warehouse emissions calculations to address Scope 3 emissions of logistics and supply chain activities. In March 2023, the company partnered with Vestre, a furniture manufacturer, to sell carbon credits from permanent CO2 removal projects. In April 2023, Lune Climate in collaboration with Visa, launched a carbon-neutral checkout using Lune’s API and software tools for emissions calculations and carbon offsettings. In January 2024, Lune partnered with JAS Worldwide, a freight and logistics provider, to finance climate projects that offset logistics emissions for the latter's customers.

In early 2023, Lune Climate provided Scope 3 emissions insights to Chain.io, Veratrak, and Paid to optimize their supply chain operations. The company’s platform is used by companies such as IDEO, GoCardless, and Moomin to purchase verified carbon credits. In addition, companies such as Salesforce, Payhawk, and Tred, use Lune’s software to embed climate action into their internal products.

The company’s most recent funding round was in March 2022, when it raised USD 4 million led by Crane Venture Partners.
