Caldo Restaurant Technologies (Caldo) offers kitchen automation solutions for restaurants. Its product portfolio includes 1) “Octo,’' a high-grade automated makeline that can process incoming orders and dispense ready-to-eat ingredients from canisters to automatically prepare food bowls like salads and 2) “Runner.os,” software systems that process operational data (i.e., identifies optimized queuing for incoming orders, tracks ingredient inventory, and alerts employees of food safety and quality assurance tasks). Its technology was developed with input from foodservice companies including Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Noodles World Kitchen, Smoothing King, and Raising Cane’s.
