Kinetix is a French company that offers an AI-powered, no-code platform for users to build fully featured 3D animations that can be shared on and integrated into the metaverse. Users can upload video clips into the Kinetix platform or integrate assets from the Kinetix library (which includes assets like Adobe Mixamo and Ready Player Me), choose their design, and create fully rendered 3D identities, films, concerts, group dances, and video games for virtual environments.
In January 2023, Kinetix, launched new features for its platform which included an updated AI model for motion extraction from videos, and an AI tool for applying predefined motion to any animation.
Funding and financials
In May 2022, Kinetix raised USD 11 million in seed funding led by Adam Ghobarah. The funds were earmarked for expanding on its partnerships with the virtual worlds provided by The Sandbox and Zepeto (both of which participated in the funding). It will also enable creators to monetize their creations in virtual worlds.
