Kansas City Pioneers (KCP) is a professional esports, gaming, and media organization that competes in esports games such as Rocket League, Apex Legends, and eNASCAR iRacing. The organization, which also has a strong lifestyle component, has attracted several professional traditional athletes as content creators and brand ambassadors. KCP previously owned Women’s Car Ball, the largest female tournament circuit in Rocket League, until it was acquired by North American esports organization G1.
In March 2023, KCP's Gears of War team clinched the Split Two Winter Major, marking their second consecutive major championship win. Additionally, KCP's Women's Rocket League team, KCPGold, topped the regular-season standings in the Women's Car Ball Championship.
As of June 2023, the company was estimated to have earned USD 292 million from participation in 71 tournaments, with Rocket League accounting for the majority (~65%) of total tournament earnings.
