Established in 2009 by former SAP employees Fabio Ronga, Tanya Jansen, and Stephan Pohl, beqom is a Switzerland-based company that specializes in providing cloud-based compensation and performance management solutions. The platform incorporates bidirectional built-in connectors, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Viva, facilitating the integration of employee data into the beqom platform.

Key customers and partnerships

As of April 2024, beqom assisted over 120 global enterprises, including DHL, Total Energies, PICTET, PepsiCo, and Mercedes Benz, in managing their employee compensation processes.

To expand its reach and offerings, beqom collaborates with strategic partners that can help customers with continuous performance and compensation management strategies, handle large-scale implementations, and integrate beqom into their daily workflow. Notable partners in this regard include KPMG, Modulus Data, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Deloitte.

Funding and financials 

In April 2022, the company secured a strategic investment of USD 300 million from Sumeru Equity Partners (Sumeru). Funds were earmarked to grow its product offerings to better support compensation and human capital management (HCM) leaders. Further, the company noted that it recorded 100% year-on-year (YoY) bookings growth in 2021.
