Locomobi, which provides a suite of parking management solutions, was launched subsequent to the acquisition of Nautical Tech (license plate recognition and parking management platform) by QuickPay (a parking reservation app). The firm's cloud-based parking management platform leverages license plate recognition (LPR) technologies for parking management services such as parking control & access, revenue management, and virtual parking enforcement and does not require any investment in physical infrastructure. The firm's platform is complemented by a number of hardware solutions including LPR cameras, smart parking barriers, and payment kiosks. The firm has expanded its suite of services to other smart city applications including traffic & transit management (tolling systems & transit planning), warehousing (storage facility management software), and airports services (mobile asset tracking, threat management).

In July 2020, the firm introduced Worldstream, a cloud-based smart city platform that can integrate with both new infrastructure (IoTs) and legacy systems for transportation and building services. In addition, The firm further enhanced this platform with the addition of VIN, a data security app that leverages distributed ledger technology, which the firm claims to be the first “smart” data security network for mitigating cyber threats. These developments are in line with the firm's objective of providing a complete smart city solution.

Locomobi was named as one of the top 30 fastest-growing tech companies of 2021 by Silicon review.

Key customers and partnerships

As of January 2022, the firm's solutions have been applied in a range of locations including hospitals, stadiums, airports, amusement parks, shopping centers, and hotels and has partnered with firms such as SmartOne, Kite, Elby, MONEX group, and Live Patrol.

In January 2023 , Locomobi partnered with Worldstream to offer a comprehensive traffic management solution that combines Locomobi World's Traffic Cameras with Worldstream’s infrastructure.
