Prague-based Mews specializes in the provision of cloud-based hotel property management systems (PMS). Its flagship platform, Mews Hospitality Cloud, consists of the following solutions:
1) Mews Operations, which is a platform that simplifies day-to-day operations for front and back office staff by providing reservation management, revenue management, housekeeping management, and front-office operations. It allows housekeepers to manage their work from mobile devices with digital status updates providing smart scheduling
2) Mews Guest Journey, which provides features to enhance guest experience such as a virtual concierge for mobile check-in, direct guest messaging, and online checkout, including options to modify billing details and add minibar items. Additionally, self-service kiosks are available for guests to check in and out, which are integrated with the Mews Operations system and equipped with an ID scanner for validating digital registration cards
3) Mews BI, which provides five interactive dashboards to track hotel performance with the Mews Reporting feature including an array of reports such as occupancy insights, customizable reservations reports, KPI reports, accounting ledgers for guest profiles, bill and invoice summaries, and an action log for platform actions

4) Mews Payments, which is a payment gateway that offers a variety of payment options, including Google Pay and Apple Pay, and features such as real-time payments overview and automatic inventory updates
5) Mews Marketplace, which provides access to more than 750 apps and integrations

7) Mews Hotel POS which offers a hotel restaurant POS and digital ordering features, among others.
Mews’ acquisitions include Atomize, a Swedish revenue management software provider (November 2024), property management system HS3 Hotelsoftware (May 2024), cloud-based PMS solution provider Hotello (April 2023), hospitality technology company Cenium, POS provider Bizzon (2022), cloud-based PMS provider Hotel Perfect (2021), accommodation search platform Base7Booking (2020), and the largest Belgium-based PMS provider, Winner Hotel Software(2019). In 2022, the company announced Mews for Salesforce, which allowed integrations with Salesforce’s CRM alongside the launch of Mews Ventures, the company’s investment arm.
Mews generates revenue through its SaaS subscription-based offerings, which include its Starter and Pro offerings priced at ~USD 9 and ~USD 15 per room per month, respectively. Mews also offers a custom enterprise package for larger organizations.
Mews revealed to TechCrunch ( February 2024) that it is not yet profitable at the time, although its gross payment volume rose to USD 8 billion by end 2023, compared to USD 2.3 billion at the end of 2022.
Key customers and partnerships
Key customers include Nordic Choice, Accor, The Social Hub, Les Airelles, Life House, Pandox, and Generator-Freehand. As of February 2024, over 5,000 properties in 80 countries utilized Mews PMS. Partnerships that selected Mews as a preferred PMS integrator include BWH hotels (October 2024) , Relais & Châteaux (October 2022) and Leading Hotels of the World (February 2022).
