Pyreos develops and supplies a specialised infra-red sensor platform focused on three markets where it has particular USPs: food safety, gas detection/analysis and fuel/oil condition monitoring.  These markets, worth over $1.2bn, are perfect for the Company's tiny, high performance rugged sensors, working in the mid-IR spectrum – the key ‘fingerprint’ region where the molecular composition of materials can be accurately identified.

Biomensio is revolutionizing analytics through its Diagnostics-as-a-Service Platform.    The platform consists of a fully digital handheld reader, multianalyte fluid cartridges, and a cloud-based analytics service powered by professional services team.  DXaaS provides an easier access for OEM partners to develop bio analysis products and services. Their initial application areas of interest are point-of-need applications including the detection of drug abuse in saliva, as well as food and milk safety.

Arelion offers innovative optimization software tools, plug-ins, products and customer specific solutions that solve even very complex quantitative optimization problems. Arelion’s software solutions excel when optimization problems are subject to dynamically changing boundary conditions and when good results need to be available within very short time frames. Due to the special architecture of Arelion’s technology, implementation is quick and integration with customers’ IT infrastructure is straightforward. The core technology has originally been developed in cooperation between the Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz, Austria, and Siemens CT, Munich. Arelion will concentrate on selling sector specific standard software as well as offering software tools and plug-ins to integrators and other software product developers that require a high performance optimizer.

EnOcean GmbH manufactures and markets wireless sensor solutions for use in buildings and industrial installations. It offers energy harvesting technology, sensors, and radio frequency communication in a single solution for building and home automation, lighting, industrial, automated meter reading, and environmental applications. The company's products include transmitters, receivers, transceivers, energy harvesters, kits, and accessories; the self-powered wireless sensor technology; self-powered wireless sensors to harvest and manage energy from environment; and radio technology to generate a long-range signals. It sells its products through distributors in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China/Hongkong, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. EnOcean GmbH was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Oberhaching, Germany. The company has a subsidiary in the United States.

Axis Three is the market leader and pioneer of 3D surgical simulation tools for the cosmetic surgery market.  Through its partnership with Siemens and its ground-breaking simulation software based on physics-driven tissue typing, Axis Three promises to create the new standard for 3D predictive surgical simulation.

PolyIC produces printed polymer electronics, using a technology based on electrically conducting or semi-conducting plastics printed on flexible polyester substrates. Printed electronics enable low-cost RFID tags to be produced for use in mass applications such as logistics, authentication solutions, displays and other complex systems.

Thermosensorik GmbH develops and manufactures systems for non-destructive testing of materials and components based on heat flow thermography. Its product range comprises high-resolution infrared camera systems, manual measuring systems for laboratory use, and fully-automated in-line measuring systems for the non-destructive detection of cracks, cavities other flaws.

Symeo is an expert for precise sensor systems and robust radar solutions for position detection, distance measurement, collision avoidance & telemetry. We develop and produce the most modern HF radio sensor technology components, as well as radar- and satellite-based complete systems for realtime position detection and distance measurement used in industrial applications worldwide. Additionally, we offer reliable solutions for collision avoidance and failsafe telemetry systems. We work closely with original equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and technology partners on a national and international scale.

Panoratio was established in March, 2003, in Munich, Germany. The technology grew out of work started at the Siemens AG Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Laboratory to address optimization issues regarding the installation and performance of gas turbine engines within Siemens Westinghouse power plants.   While sensors placed throughout the power plant generated extremely complex datasets, it proved impossible to close the performance loop and analyze them efficiently. Researchers solved this problem by developing of a pure software solution that reduces the dataset's footprint without losing any of its granularity or complexity. Recognizing the universal value of the solution, Siemens AG, established Panoratio as a separate, independent entity.   Since then, Panoratio has developed PANOsight, a software suite underpinned by the patented compression technology, and has over 50 customers in production. The company is proud to count AOK, AOL, Avis, buch.de, InsightHealth, KarstadtQuelle, Macy's, SavaSeniorCare, Sierra Health Services, Siemens, Sixt, Vodafone and Yahoo! among them.
