Independent research conducted in September 2020 indicated that facilities using CarePredict’s wearables reported 40% fewer hospitalizations 69%, lower fall rates, 67% increased length of stay, and a 37% improved staff response rate than facilities that did not use CarePredict.The company expanded its operations in 2018 through its acquisition of WiseWare, a company selling activity-tracking jewelry for older users.  Senior living operations management platform Sage has secured USD 35 million in a Series B funding round led by IVP. The round also saw participation from Friends &amp; Family Capital, PLUS Capital, and existing investors such as Maveron, Goldcrest Capital, Distributed Ventures, and ANIMO Ventures. This investment round brings the total capital raised by Sage to USD 59 million.
 The funds will be utilized to promote growth in the team, expand the platform's reach to more communities, and develop advanced product features. With the help of recent advancements in AI technology, Sage intends to drive improvements across various aspects of senior living operations.
 As of December 2024, Sage's platform is operational across numerous communities in 26 states. The platform has successfully reduced caregiver response times from 20 minutes to under eight minutes and has assisted operators in triaging 1.3 million care events in this year alone.
