ZenHub

ZenHub is a Canadian project management and collaboration tool provider for GitHub.  The software, which can be accessed through a browser or a web application, allows users to create roadmaps and reports, create task boards including Kanban boards, and create automated workflows on GitHub. In March 2023, the company announced the launch of Zenhub Issues, a new issue management experience that allows both internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on tasks with technical teams, regardless of whether they have a GitHub account or not. With ZenHub, users can prioritize and track their work, plan sprints, and collaborate with their team members in real time. 

ZenHub also includes features that are specifically designed for team collaboration. Users can add comments to issues and pull requests, assign tasks to team members, and receive notifications when changes are made to their work. ZenHub also provides a team-wide view of project progress, allowing team members to see what their colleagues are working on and how their work fits into the larger project. Zenhub operates with a subscription model that includes a freemium version and a paid plan starting at USD 8.33 per month.

Key customers and partnerships

As of March 2023, the company reported more than 150,000 users that are developers, product owners, and project managers. As of February 2021, 2,400 customers, including Microsoft, Adobe, Docker, SAP, Comcast, IBM, HubSpot, Cisco, and Shopify, were using the platform.  

Funding and financials

In March 2023 , Zenhub raised USD 10 million in Series A funding led by Yaletown Partners. The fresh funds were allocated to expand Zenhub's project management platform beyond technical teams that use GitHub and to further its transition from a "plug-in" to a "platform" model.
