It operates through, Digital Content, develops and sells package games for consumer consoles and digital download contents as well as develops and operates mobile content and PC online games; Arcade Operations, operates “Plaza Capcom” amusement facilities in large commercial complexes in Japan; Amusement Equipment, consists of the Pachinko and Pachislo business, which is involved in the development, manufacture, and sale of frames and LCD devices for gaming machines as well as software; and Other Businesses segments. Capcom was founded in 1983 and is based in Burnaby, B.C. It is, now involved in all areas of the video game industry and has offices in Tokyo, Osaka, California, England, Germany, and Hong Kong.
