Whoosh is an electric scooter sharing service that operates in various cities across Russia and former Soviet states. The company offers short-term rentals of electric scooters through a mobile application. Users can locate and rent scooters using the app, which displays available vehicles on a map along with their battery charge and ride rates. The service allows customers to rent up to three scooters on a single account, catering to families or groups. Whoosh has implemented features such as free reservation and the ability to park scooters in designated areas marked on the app's map.

As of September 2022, Whoosh had approximately 82,000 scooters deployed in 40 cities and boasted 11.2 million registered users. The company has positioned itself as a leader in the Russian scooter-sharing market, making electric scooter travel a familiar mode of transport in urban areas. In December 2022, Whoosh became the only company to complete an initial public offering (IPO) in Russia that year, raising 2.1 billion rubles (USD 32.6 million) and achieving a valuation of 20.6 billion rubles (USD 320 million). The IPO was seen as a test of Russia's capital markets amidst international sanctions and the departure of many Western companies from the country.
