Helpling is a London-based home maintenance and servicing marketplace operating in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Singapore, and six other countries across the Middle East and Asia. Clients can find self-contracted cleaners based on hourly pricing requirements via its platform. It also provides post-code-based search criteria to help customers locate cleaners based on proximity to the location. 

Helpling’s platform prices the cleaning jobs at hourly rates, which are decided by the contracted cleaners. Customers have the option of choosing cleaners based on a price range and also switching routine cleaners according to their preference. The company provides liability insurance for claims on damages of over EUR 350 and assurance for below EUR 350 claims on damages borne by the contracted cleaners. 

In the UK, Helpling’s home cleaning services were priced at GBP 15 per hour for weekly service and GBP 18 per hour for a one-off service. The company offers a range of additional services tailored to each country in which it operates. For example, in the UAE, it provides home disinfection and sanitization services for residential and corporate clients. In Singapore, the company also offers landscaping and handyman services.

In 2019, the company reported having achieved profitability across all markets. As of March 2022, the platform has facilitated over one million cleaning jobs and served more than 100,000 customers in the UK. As of the same period, it had facilitated over 350,000 cleaning jobs and served more than 250,000 customers in Singapore.
