Figo Pet Insurance

Figo is an online provider of pet insurance, focusing on coverage for cats and dogs. It offers the Figo Pet Cloud, a cloud-based pet health management system, accessible through a smartphone app and coordinated website, allowing customers to file claims, store medical records, and access a variety of pet-related resources. The Figo app also provides features like locating pet hotels, groomers, and veterinarians nearby, as well as providing reminder services for routine care. It offers a selection of three plans with varying benefit amounts: USD 10,000, USD 14,000, or unlimited reimbursements per year. Customers have the flexibility to choose from four deductible options, ranging from USD 50 to USD 500, and four reimbursement levels, ranging from 70% to 100%.

Figo differentiates itself from other pet insurance providers by offering an annual deductible instead of a per-condition deductible. This means that once a customer reaches their deductible for a specific incident, they won't be required to pay an additional deductible for subsequent treatments within the same year. Additionally, Figo claims to cover the cost of the vet exam, which is typically excluded by many other companies. 

In October 2021, Figo Pet Insurance was acquired by JAB, an investment firm, for an undisclosed amount.
