Privya

Privya is an Israel-based data privacy startup that protects the privacy of sensitive information before code is deployed into production in cloud applications. Privya integrates with the CI/CD pipeline of an organization and provides actionable measures to fix compliance issues. Privya's data privacy code scanning platform analyzes the types of data being collected, used, stored, and sent to third-party services to comply with privacy-related regulations such as the GDPR and CPRA.

Privya operates in Israel and the US. As of August 2022, Privya had an employee headcount of 15 and expected to increase this to around 20 by the end of 2022.

As of August 2022, the company was in the beta phase serving dozens of early customers in the finance, business services, telecoms, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors.

In March 2024, Privya partnered with TrustArc to combine their privacy offerings and provide customers with an integrated solution covering data creation, collection, classification, risk analysis, and reporting for privacy and compliance.
